This is all I have

I was all ready to post about our fun time picking out pumpkins last weekend, but then this happened to Abby...
so I didn't get any pictures of the pumpkin pick-out fun.

I clicked on Weatherbug and come to see that it's quite hot out. I believe we should be dead with this heatwave. And to think we didn't even turn our air conditioner on. And a low of 32! Wow. Wisconsin weather is so unpredictable. ;o)

The date was 07/07/07. The temperature was 77.7. Wind speed 7 mph. It would have been really something if the time was 7:07:07, but 9:09 is close. That's all I got. Have a nice day.

What God's doing here

God seems to have filled my head with nothing but Him. I have nothing to post about. Not that God is nothing, I don't mean that. I've been trying to find something to post but God is telling me to seek Him. So that's what I must do.

It's an amazing time we live in, and seeking God is probably the best thing to do now. Our world seems to be going downhill fast. He will give us the answers. He will provide for us. He will care for us, no matter what. If we seek Him!

So even though I could post about the snow we had this morning, although it didn't stick to the ground, and it's cold out. 36 degrees, and we have more snow coming, and how it's going to warm up by the weekend, and how we had 70 degree weather last weekend, I won't because He wants me to stop and seek Him.

Now since I sneaked all that in, I have to go say I'm sorry to God, for not quitting right away.
I know how I feel when my girls don't listen to me right away, just think how God feels. sigh

Just a Reminder

Daylight savings starts tonight, or early morning. 2 a.m. I think. Don't forget to spring ahead and turn your clocks ahead 1 hour. I took a 3 hour nap this afternoon so I won't lose my hour tonight. When you wake up on Sunday, it will be one hour later. Don't be late for church. That is if the place you are located participates in daylight savings. I'm looking forward to it being lighter out at night. Just because we have a forecast of several inches of wet, heavy snow coming tomorrow, doesn't mean spring is right around the corner. The weathermen are calling it "heart-attack snow". Nice!

Fabulous Friday...so far

I feel like the best mother in the world when my kids eat well. That always doesn't happen. But this morning it did. I made Abigail a breakfast of egg and cheese on an english muffin, bacon, (ok, not so healthy) orange slices, applesauce and milk. Dora got a jelly heart piece of candy. Not healthy, but she's fake. I think Abby said she was going to eat it for dessert. I won't even tell you what I ate, cuz it wasn't good. I did finish the egg sandwich, but the rest...not good. Ok, I'll tell you. I had a Take 5 candy bar and I just cracked open a rootbeer. So, best mother, bad self. The day is still young, we'll see how I finish it.



Happiness is hearing the snow melt off your roof. It's been 2 months since I heard that sound. 37 degrees right now , and getting in to the 40's this weekend. Heat wave! Spring is coming, I can hear it.
