Somebody loves me

I've been awarded! Miss Bridget @ Among the Chaos gave me this wonderful bloggy award. She loves my blog! Um....why? I kid, you can love it if you want. I love yours too. Apparently I'm doing something right if you keep coming back.

Now I have to list 10 things I love.

1) I'm kinda loving those colored pencils up there. Nothing like a sharp point and an array of colors to choose from, to get me all warm and fuzzy.
2) I love that I'm inside when outside it's cold and rainy.
3) I love that mom robin was able to take care of her babies, after dad robin was killed.
4) I love that the babies are learning to fly, because now I can wash the HUGE splats of bird doo-doo off my porch.
5) I love that my friend is turning another year older tomorrow, and she's doing it 10 days before I do. And always will! :o)
6) I love that Phoebe didn't come home with a ton of toys yesterday when Grandma took her birthday shopping yesterday. (just a ton of clothes and jewelry, and lip gloss)
7) "I'm sooo over toys, Mom" is something I loved to hear her say yesterday. (I think I loved it. Being sooo over toys means she is growing up) sniff
8) OK now the usual.....I love Jesus.
9) I love my family.
10) I love that all of you come back once in awhile and read my blog.

I'd love to pass this award to all of you, because I love to read your blogs. Oops is that 11?

Bloggy Love

I've been a spacehead lately, with nothing to blog about until the other day when I received an award from Bridget. I thought..."yay, I have something to blog about". Then, I forgot to blog about it. Bad blogger and a spacehead all in one. She gently reminded me in an e-mail this morning. Thank you Bridget. And she said she missed my blogging and hoped everything is OK. Yes, I'm OK. Just leading a boring life with nothing to say. Unless you want to hear about my children who don't want to obey, or about my husband who can't stop pouting over a football game. Ya...I don't want to hear about that stuff either. It's bad enough having to live it.

AND talk about an ungrateful blogger! Bridget also gave me this award back in November and I didn't even blog about it.

I add sunshine to her day. That makes me happy. After all this she's probably ready to stick these awards she gave me, where the sun don't shine. I really appreciate your kindness...all of you. Forgive me.

Two days ago Bridget gives me this award.
I am a fabulous Sugar Doll! woo hoo!
I have to tell 10 things about myself. Fabulous things or any old thing? Hmmm.

1) I got my first bra when I was in 6th grade. I didn't need one, but it was a sympathy bra because my baby sister got a bra. She was in 4th grade and really needed it!

2) I'm the 7th child out of 8.

3) I'm the 5th girl out of 6.

4) Ahhhhh! I just found the dental floss that I have been looking for! Right here by the computer. That makes me HAPPY!

5) I guess that makes me a flossing nut.

6) I won a red/white/and blue 10 speed bike when I was a kid. It was 1976, so I guess it was celebrating the bicentennial. It was hokey looking, but I never had my own bike, so I was thrilled!

7) I'm afraid of heights. (shudder just thinking about it)

8) I used to be a snowmobiling nut, and a cross country skiing nut, but then I got married to a guy who wasn't any of those nuts, so I stopped being those kind of nuts. (sigh..the things we do for love)

9) 100 years ago I bought my own little house, and after a year and a half of living there, the mice began to show up. ( I am afraid of mice) I sold the house and moved in with my boyfriend, (a snowmobiling nut) Everybody say..... "STUPID"

10) I feel pretty fabulous for 48 (and a half)

There you go. 10 fabulous and not so fabulous things about me.
I want all of my readers to take this award (if you want) because you are all fabulous to me.

Award winner

Thanks to Wayne, I have another award to add to my blog. Thank you Wayne. He gave me the Honest Scrap award, so now I have to list 10 honest things about me. I tend not to lie, so anything goes I guess. No, I'll dig deep with this.

1) As a kid, I was always scared when watching All Star Wrestling. I thought I would see my dad in the ring, instead of being at work like he said he was.

2) I'm more strict with one child than the other. (Something I'm trying to change.)

3) I love writing with pencils.

4) I don't call people very often, for fear of bothering them.

5) My husband and I have total opposite interests. We tease each other about why God wanted us together.

6) I get pleasure out of watching clothes dry on a clothesline. Especially sheets.

7) I yell too much. (another change I'm working on)

8) I thought the movie, "Fireproof" had the lamest acting I've ever seen. It was pretty predictable too. Good movie, but predictable.

9) I feel sorry for Christmas trees that aren't picked to go to a good home for Christmas.

10) After reading most of these, I see I'm in dire need of therapy.

I'm supposed to give this award to 7 people. I think most of my readers have this award, but if you don't, then by all means grab it and play along.

I believe this is post #98, so only 2 more posts until my 100th post giveaway. Stay tuned.

I'd like to thank the Acadamy...again

Another surprise award left here for me. So very sweet. I am honored that people
care enough to pop in here and read about my tiny little life. I got this award from Amanda. Her writing style is a mile a minute, and it makes me smile. Check her out, she has stuff to say. This award means...
"These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find, and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers." Now I'm supposed to pass it on to 8 bloggers!
Eight!? I don't know 8 bloggers. Well, I do, but they don't know me.
I will award this friendship award to..
1) Hannah...a very smart 15 year old, who has her head on straight. I pray my girls have qualities like her. Her blog should be read by more people.

2)Mimi... her posts always puts a smile on my face.

3) Elaine... love to peek in on her life daily.

4) Heidi... laugh out loud at her posts.

That's it for now. These girls have things to say. Check them out.

I'd like to thank the Acadamy

Thank you to Amanda over at "a proud mommy of 4" for giving me this sweet award. I feel so blessed to be making new friends through these blogs.
Let me tell you what this award means.
"This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated."
How nice. How true. My blogger friends are just another thing to add to my list of things I am thankful for this Thanksgiving. God bless you all.

I pass this award on to Mistee
