Kelly over at Kelly's Korner has started a fun little thing to do on a Friday. We get to be nosy and have a tour of your home. Click on her name to see more. Today is a tour of the kitchen. Here is mine... Let's start here. Looking from the den in to the dining area and kitchen. Fat cat included.
Looking left to my desk where I keep the bills, and other junk, and looking out in to our sun porch. I love this room from spring to fall. Too cold in winter to enjoy.
To the right of the sunroom is the start of the kitchen. The girls have a little table there with their coloring books and crayons, and paper and stuff that they like to do. My ideal kitchen would be to get rid of the overhead cabinet and open the space up. I would put a wall cabinet where the clock is, because we need the cabinet space. That counter space is loaded often with food. We host a lot of family and friend get togethers.
Sink, dishwasher, microwave, cupboards. Perry's pride and joy coffee maker. He just told me the other day that if he wasn't married to me he would marry his coffee maker. HA! No competition there. Window looking out to the backyard.
Right turn to the other side of the counter and more cupboards. My pride and joy...my purse. I have no need to be married to it though. Hallway to a bathroom, laundry room, the back door, and steps to the basement. Refrigerator loaded with pictures and kids stuff.
Next the cooking area. More loaded refrigerator. WHAT! Another coffee maker. Actually it's a espresso maker. Perry loves coffee. Small fish tank w/3 goldfish. I think one is on its last fin.
and lastly, a pantry closet filled with food and junk food. Doorway on left goes in to the dining room, right goes back in to the den.
What I hate, is that every wall in this house is white. We had great plans to color this place up when we moved in, but no such luck yet. Hope you enjoyed seeing a part of where we live. Join in so I can snoop in your house.

What a fun thing. My kitchen is so tiny it would only need half a picture to take the tour. I am talking I can unload the dishwasher while looking in the fridge and cooking dinner at the same time. LOL
YOur kitchen is gorgeous probably more fun to cook in too.

i've seen you kitchen in real life and it's beautiful. i loved every part of your house that i saw. i loved how it felt like a 'home' and not a 'house'. :0) especially when my daughter knocked over your lamp! :0) lol.

LOVE this!!! I know how you feel about the painting thing. We haven't painted any of our walls yet either. Hey, maybe we should visit and do each other's walls! Ha! :-) Someday, I'll get to meet all my bloggy friends!
